LOL.....Symmetry to the max! One question though, why do you use a VERY white backdrop? Questioning your style here nothing wrong with it BTW.
Dotun Ayodeji: Thanks Jide, I have about 12 different backdrops I shoot with actually but white is my favorite and I will tell you why. When shooting with strobes the camera struggles to get the actual white background white, no matter what white balance settings you use, even custom WB wouldn't help unless you shoot RAW. So straight out of camera the white background comes with a slight tint depending on your subject, but a trick I learned from fashion photogs is that the tint will actually help you in PP. So I load the shot, open up a level adjustment layer, and click on the farthest eyedropper to the right. Then I click anywhere on the tinted white background and voila the tinted white turn very white(hence the pure white) and your subject's skin tones are auto corrected giving you an almost exact color of your subject. But overall my background is determined by my subject's makeup, skin and wardrobe. Or sometimes when I shoot for some local publication they determine what backdrop they need. I think I have a shot or 2 lined up with a gray background turned light gray due to a background light but is is definately not pure white. And yeah for most my beauty shots symmetry rocks, I highly recommend it when doing beauty headshots.
wow, what a stunning photo! Those eyelashes are a bit too short though, aren't they? lol! Nice!
Dotun Ayodeji: lol...you it it get longer it may poke my camera
With her skin tones and black hair, I LOVE the white background, Dotun. Don't question it for one second...especially against the black page!
This is so YOU!
Dotun Ayodeji: Thanks Ginnie, I love it too. The actual trick to getting such skin tones is the use of a white background and a sight PP in PS as I just explained to Jide.
Wow - she's really over the top in her make-up and it looks amazing in the photo.
The long explanation of the use of the white background was very informative. Thanks!
Dotun Ayodeji: thanks Jewlya.
The lighting and model are good. I'm not sure about the pose though...eyes a bit too askance. Also i think for this type of shot you could have kept a bit more detail in the hair.
All just nitpicks to an excellent image though.
Dotun Ayodeji: lol....but I don't get it how much more details do you need for the hair, sorry I dont see it like that, it is not needed when you shoot dark hair against a light backdrop, hair light needs to be used very carefully, I use that mostly for blond hair or similar. I really like to see this sort images more in your port to really get a feel of what you mean, but thanks though as always.
beautiful!
Dotun Ayodeji: Thanks Rags.
Cool.
Dotun Ayodeji: Thanks Josef.
Wow Dotun, Fierce.
Dotun Ayodeji: Thanks E!
LOL, those eyelashes must have had a lot of fertilizer dumped on them. This shot looks very professional. Why did you crop the top of her head? Just curious. There is nothing wrong with it as far as I can see.
Dotun Ayodeji: Martin, that is a very good question, It's more like a habit for most my headshots, I call it photographic amputation
Lovely shot. Nice skin tone. I like it.
Dotun Ayodeji: Thanks Gail.
if this is part 1 Dee, then I'm looking forward to the rest. Beautiful girl super shot. mal

Nice work buddy, good pose, good make up, great catch.
The white background information is very helpful. Lovely skin tones and eyes - the hair seems slightly unfocused.
Surprising long lashes. Excellent picture.
Great portrait, Dotun! I could never wear false eyelashes, and admire those who can.
