photoblog image Walking down the aisle

Walking down the aisle

One from a wedding 2 weeks ago as the flower girls prepared the aisle for the bride. I decided to put up todays shot in form of a caffee table book page.

Bola and Joe, if you happen to see this, congratulations once again.

I love this style of presentation and the photo works well indeed.
Dotun Ayodeji: Thanks Sinem
I absolutely love. Dotun give me some pp lessons now.. I am too busy with work to find them meself!
Dotun Ayodeji: Thanks Ngozi, there is really not much PP here. The original picture to the left was pretty straight from the camera with a little sharpening. I made another copy of the original image then increased the size in CS2 under Image>Image Size. Then with the now enlarged image use gradient map to change the color, brightness or anything that suits your taste. Gradient map is under Image>adjustments>gradient map. At this point open the original image, select all under select>all, then copy. Go the the image you previous blew up and paste. Now at this point, you will need to select the move tool or press V. once the move tool is selected you can move the image you just pasted around as you wish. Now at this time I would hope you've been working in layers smile then flatten image or just save as a JPEG
I really like this treatment. I'm sure the little girls would like it too.
Dotun Ayodeji: Thanks Mary!

Excellent again. I was wondering before and after reading your reply to Ngozi would have liked to see what it looks like with the coloured version in different positions in the picture. Must have been quite something to 'play' with. smile
Beautiful girls smile

This is so very cool, Dotun! And I'm saving it to my Likeys so that I'll have the tutorial at my fingertips! smile

Clever!

I quite like the way you've positioned the colour picture to cover up the water bottle.
