Wedding Series #6

I will be continuing my wedding series again this week. Here is a shot from Rome same day as here-http://dotun.shutterchance.com/photoblog/73980.htm, again I just happened to bump into this couple getting married at the Colosseum and they did their thing completely oblivious to the fact that there were so many tourist around. It felt kind of nice seeing the hired pro's doing their own thing and there I was doing mine and taking it very serious :) I may have one more shot of them showing a bit of the colosseum, will post that soon.

Very nice picture. Well framed. smile
Dotun Ayodeji: Thanks Kay, glad you like.
magnifique! Ah! l'amour!
Dotun Ayodeji: Thank you!
Sweet, agree that the guy in the left should be crooped out. beautiful couple.
Dotun Ayodeji: Thanks Ade, this was not meant to be a wedding portrait if you read my comments. If it were to be portrait then I would crop out the photogrpher and the clone the folks in the background as well, but I understand where you coming from.
Lovely....
Dotun Ayodeji: Thanks Anup!

My guess is that you kept the guy on the left in because HE was the "real" photographer, so I have no problem with him there. If YOU were the professional doing the shoot, he wouldn't be there, of course. So this is a fun sneaking-in on another's territory. Nice shot, Dotun. One with the colosseum would be aewsome.
Dotun Ayodeji: Ginnie, that was my point exactly, it's a photojournalistic photo in that sense. I intend to put it in my future online website but with the cropped version of course.

This is interesting. I think it's a bit distracting with the guy on the left as well as the people in the background. But knowing that you weren't the wedding photographer I can see that you did it this way for a reason. It's kind of a shot of the behind the scenes.
Dotun Ayodeji: Thanks Laurie, he is distracting but I really just wanted to share with you guys the fact that I was just a tourist with a camera. If I was to present this shot to the couple, I would crop out the guy as suggested and probably clone out the folks in the background.

Excellent! As a wedding album photo, for the reasons mentioned, it might not be included but in a different way it works really well: They look very popular, almost like stars. It seems photographers surround them. A great candid.

Looks very wedding-like smile I like the processing and the paparazzi in the background adds a nice touch.
Very nice of 2 lovers. Luminous and well composed.
I forget one word... very nive PORTRAIT, of course ! !
Te pidieron los novios que les enviaras las fotos? wink Buen trabajo, lol !!
P.D.: Qué está haciendo ese hombre detrás de los novios?... Una foto? Es una cámara?

Requested to you the fiancès who you sent the photos to them? wink Good work, lol!
P.D.: What is making that man behind the fiancès... A photo? It is a camera?

Hi Dotun. Excellent focus and DOF. I for one, actually read what you put in your write up and of course agree that the photographer should be there, perfectly in context for the shot you wanted. Besides, I think if you cropp him out, you will lose too much of the Groom's leg and the bouquet. IMHO, this is a spot on photograph. Many kind regards, Neil.
Dunno, the guy in the backgroung sort of fits in - he adds a sense of celebrity to an otherwise gorgeous couple. Well spotted D!

I like the idea behind this picture, and I also like all the people in the background and the photographer. It's obvious they aren't posing for you, because they aren't looking at you ... but I hope the 'official' chappie didn't include the man with the flashgun!

I look forward to more of this series smile
Happy hours shot ! Very well done Dotun !
Nice shot. What's the secret? How did you manage to have their faces so illuminated.
