Contemplation of Justice

I visited the US Supreme court in DC last week and took this shot. This statue is popularly known as "Contemplation of Justice" by James Earle Fraser.

You had a shot of a seated statue from a similar perspective on here a while ago. It still works very well. Nice work, as always!

Blue background = classic. Sharpness = excellent. Composition = I have a question tongue IS the statue of the man in the back, is itthe same or a different one? For some reason it seems like it's somewhere in a distance at the back, but you got it to compose well with the one in the front. I could be wrong of course... lovely work

I wondered about the smaller guy too, assumed it was part of the same statue? The marble detail is nice. I agree the white and blue are quite pleasing.

Mid blue and white seem to symbolise peace, which I suppose adds to the symbolism of this sculpture. Wonderful detail Dotun, very good. smile
