Keke Napep

I have had numerous requests to put up shots from my last trip, so I have been putting up one or two per week but I will be taking a break for a while so enjoy this one :) Ok another one from the streets of Nigeria. This is a modification to the regular bikes you will see in Nigeria. Keke means bike and Napep is probably a name of someone famous(not sure). The sign Oluwa Tosin, means the "God is worthy to be worshipped". Something, I admire about Nigeria is that no matter how tough things get people still take time to give God his well deserved praise.

Very nice shot Dotun..may I add that it sometimes fit up to 4 people in the back and 2 in front...
I am enjoying these shots that give me a glimpse of a foreign (to me) culture.

Nice place - you can keke, go fishing and visit the sky tutors.

Maybe napep is the sound the hooter makes when you press the button - napep, napep.

Great picture
Really interesting. I guess it's fairly efficient way to get around?

Great shot.
"God his well deserved praise".. I have to disagree, the beauty & strength in our people is their ability to find positivity & laughter in every situation. Nigerians need to wake up & stop waiting for God to change our situation. We have to do it ourselves!
