photoblog image Lincoln Memorial

Lincoln Memorial

This is the Lincoln Memorial or will I say a quater of it. This night I tried to get the usual memorial shots but there were just too many visitors. I waited a while but no luck. So I decided to take this shot from a very weird angle with more of the skies on the sides versus on top of the subject thus comes this shot.

probably a good one for stock dotun given the black space in it. it looks like the shutterchance proportions are not wuite agreeing with the pillars though. nice work.

I like the way you framed this. It emphasizes the clean lines of the architecture and it is certainly more interesting than the standard shot.
Dotun Ayodeji: Thanks Martin.

I agree with all of the above except I've never seen this angle before and I think you should get it into stock quick to maybe make some money from it.

Sometimes we need to be reminded of the great architecture in our own very young country, Dotun. This is a great example of it! You did us proud. smile

Amazing, the way you've captured this building makes it look ghostly.
