photoblog image Lion of the Capitol

Lion of the Capitol

ok for those who have been to the Capitol will probably say this photo composition does not exist :) This lion statue is just of the statues you see just around the corner from the Capitol but not directly in front as it looks in the pic. All I did here was use my selective AF points  and aperture to create this shot. So when next you walk by the Capital look for the Lion of the Capitol :)

I will definitely look for this lion the next time I'm at the capitol, Dotun! Such a nice, different take on our grand building.

Lions are very present in each and every capital in the world... That's a good composition. Angle is perfect.

I agree with Subster, great composition. Mal
I see the Army boys have been in with the camo paint!!!! Nicely worked pic. The Capitol Building really does add to this shot, being in the B/G like it is. Good work. Regards, Neil.

Oh my goodness, he looks a very grand, very pompous lion, but not very scary.

I'm not really sure what it is you've done, but it's worked well and you've got a great shot with super detail in the foreground and that extra interest in the background. It looks good. smile
