photoblog image John Hancock Observatory

John Hancock Observatory

Still on my Chicago shots, I really had fun with the Canon Rebel  XT. You've got to love Chicago, this city is very tall. I hope with this shot I have been able to lead your  eyes to the top of this building.

Nice shot. I especially love the way the building sits on the blue background. The blue is a perfect shade. I hope you got to take one of the Sears Tower.
Dotun Ayodeji: Thanks Toun, I did get a couple of the sears tower, I dont really like them too much but as soon as I get used to it I will post it.
Nice shot...how did ou get that Halo around the building? Lovely for stock!
Dotun Ayodeji: Thanks Jide, I used Fred Miranda's to bring out the halo.

Great shot dotun. i love the tones. Although it is a skyscraper it reminds me of the work of an australian architect glen murcott who made a house with wooden shutters that were the exterior walls.
Impressive building and picture.

Stunning shot. Very beautiful colours and impressive motive.
Hi Dotun. The shape you have acheived by disobeying all the rules of architectural photography, reminds me in a way of the Eiffel tower. This photo is the perfect illustration of how to break the rules in a creative and effective manner. Great angle and super lead in. Brilliant exposure and colour contrast. Superb. Regards, Neil.
