Good photograph Dotun, although this is a very private intelligent secretive animal - i dont like to see them exposed like this.
maybe this is the look in his eyes?
I remember seeing a captive owl in a small local nature centre - he had positioned himself at the furthest corner of his cage on a branch and had his head turned 180 degrees away from the front of the cage, I couldnt help but think his feelings were being molested and vowed never to return to that place.
maybe i am soft?
Dotun Ayodeji: I understand and respect your point of view, thanks for visiting.

Very good shot. I am sure it winked at me just now. One tip from an old birder. In the crop you cut off the toes - as the claws are pertinent features of an owl, yhey should be there.

Rabby's remark - owl eyes are very light sensitive. Therefor furthest corner and turning the head away (from light sources).
Dotun Ayodeji: Thanks Louis. I actually did not crop the toes off as you may think, but I should done better including the toes when I took the shot. Thanks for the constructive critique.
Beautiful colors, beautiful eyes. I'm also wondering if he's in a cage? I like the background colors.
Very sweet little creature, Dotun...reminds me of someone I know....not kidding!
Hi Dotun, I see you share the same birthday as Mal, 50 also!!! As for the photo, superb focus, excellent DOF,very well captured. Colours are pretty damn good aswell. Regards, Neil.
